Privacy Policy

onetimer ("we", "us") operates the website at onetimer.app — a free online alarm clock, timer, stopwatch, and clock toolset. This policy explains what information is processed when you use the site and the choices available to you.
Summary
We do not require an account. Most data stays in your browser (timer settings, alarms, preferences). We show ads through Google AdSense. If you accept analytics cookies, we also use Google Analytics to measure traffic and allow personalized advertising. We do not sell personal information.
Information stored in your browser
To make the tools work offline-first, we save configuration in your browser's localStorage, including alarm and timer settings, display preferences (font, colors, night mode), Pomodoro tasks, stopwatch laps, world-clock cities, and cookie consent choice. This data is not transmitted to our servers unless you explicitly share a URL that encodes settings in query parameters.
Advertising
Main-site module pages (not embed widgets) may show display ads served by Google AdSense. AdSense may set cookies or use similar technologies to deliver and measure ads. We use Google Consent Mode: personalized ad storage is denied by default until you click "Accept analytics" on the cookie banner.
If you choose "Essential only", ads may still appear in a non-personalized or limited form as permitted by Google Consent Mode, but ad personalization signals remain denied.
Embed routes do not show ads. Google's privacy policy applies to their ad processing: policies.google.com/privacy.
Analytics cookies (optional)
With your consent, we load Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to collect aggregated usage statistics — for example which pages are visited and which buttons are clicked — and we enable personalized advertising through Google AdSense. We use Google Consent Mode: analytics and ad cookies are denied by default until you click "Accept analytics" on the cookie banner.
If you choose "Essential only", GA4 may still receive limited, cookieless pings as permitted by Google Consent Mode, but analytics storage remains denied. You can change your mind by clearing site data in your browser, which will show the banner again on your next visit.
Google's privacy policy applies to their processing: policies.google.com/privacy.
Embedded widgets
When you embed onetimer in another site (for example Notion), the embed runs in an iframe on that third-party page. Embed routes do not show the cookie banner; the host page's policies may apply. Embed URLs pass configuration via query parameters only.
Server logs
Our hosting infrastructure may process standard server logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp) for security and reliability. These logs are retained for a limited period and are not linked to timer content stored in your browser.
Children
onetimer is a general-purpose utility site not directed at children under 13 (or 16 in the EEA where applicable). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of personal data, or to object to analytics. Because we do not operate user accounts, most data is under your control in the browser — you can clear localStorage and cookies at any time. To exercise rights or ask questions, contact us at:
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
